FELTON- Ruth Dorothy (Mentz) Perry, 97, of North Hopewell Township, spoke with the Lord on January 7, 2011 and He said, \"It is time to come home into His rest; Your job was well done.\" She was the wife of Harry O. Perry. The couple celebrated their 44th wedding anniversary on June 1st. A Service will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, January 13, 2011 at St. Paul Lebanon Lutheran Church, 6955 Rippling Run Rd. in Felton. Viewings will be from 6-8 p.m. on Wednesday at Life Tributes by Olewiler & Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 35 Gotham Place in Red Lion and Thursday from 10-11 a.m. at the church. Burial will be in Lebanon Lutheran Cemetery. Mrs. Perry was born in Scranton on April 8, 1913, a daughter of the late John and Anna (Munski) Mentz. She worked for the Post Office and held several other jobs. Mrs. Perry was a member of St. Paul Lebanon Lutheran Church in Felton, where she taught adult Sunday school and sang in the choir. Mrs. Perry leaves a daughter, Elizabeth Hauf of Towson, MD; a daughter-in-law, Rose Anna Miller of Myton, UT; 4 grandsons; five great grandchildren; and a sister, Naomi Mentz of Shrewsbury. She was preceded in death by a son, Jess M. Miller, Jr. and by two brothers and four sisters.
