YORK- Ruth C. (Sinnett) Miller, 92, passed away Friday, January 3, 2013 at Rest Haven Rehabilitation and Nursing Home in York. She was the wife of the late C. Robert Miller. The couple were married for 57 years. A Celebration of Life Tribute Service will be held at 10 AM on Thursday, January 9, 2013 at Life Tributes by Olewiler & Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 35 Gotham Place, Red Lion with The Reverend Edgar C. Reed officiating. A viewing will be held from 9 -10 AM prior to the service. Burial will be in St. James Lutheran Cemetery in Brogue. Born December 25, 1921 in Larue, PA, Ruth was a daughter of the late Archibald Sinnett and Alice (Wise) Sinnett LaFrance. Ruth was a member of the St. James Evangelical Lutheran Church in Brogue. She thoroughly enjoyed playing Bingo. Mrs. Miller is survived by five sons, Richard R. Miller of Brogue, Terry L. Miller and wife Sharon of Hanover, Larry G. Miller and wife Kathy of Red Lion, Lynn E. Miller and wife Victoria of Spring Grove and Jay D. Miller and wife Deborah of Seminole, Fl; 12 grandchildren and four step-grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren and six step-great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband, Ruth was preceded in death by her brothers and sisters. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association- York County Chapter, 610 Community Way, Lancaster, PA 17603.
