Ruth Anna Kurtz

Windsor – Ruth Anna (Shaw) Kurtz, 77, passed away Saturday, March 27, 2021 at York Hospital. She was the wife of the late Kenneth D. Kurtz, to whom she was married to for 49 years. Born on March 8, 1944 in York, she was a daughter of the late Elwood and Anna (Harrison) Shaw. She retired from York Hospital in 2007. She was a member of Grace United Methodist Church in Windsor. Ruth enjoyed reading and gardening. Her greatest love was taking care of her family and spending time with her grandchildren. Ruth is survived by her son, Daniel Kurtz and wife, Jamie; daughter, Christine Schaeberle and husband, Jeffrey and Tammy Bowser and husband, Chad; numerous grandchildren and sisters, Janet Shaw, Sara Shaw, Mary Coeyman and Susan Sterner. She is preceded in death by sisters Margaret and Bertha Shaw. A private graveside service will be at Windsor Cemetery at the convenience of the family.
