YORK- On March 21, 2011, Ruth Ann (Grymes) Norris, 65, fell asleep in death. She was the loving wife of Harold C. Norris to whom she married on August 8, 1964. A celebration of life memorial service will be 7:00 p.m. Friday, March 25, 2011 at Jehovahs Witnesses-Prospect Kingdom Hall, 701 Dallas Street, York, PA, 17403, with elder, Larry Jamison officiating. Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc. 1551 Kenneth Road, York, is in charge of arrangements. Mrs. Norris was born March 27, 1945 in Baltimore, MD, a daughter of the late Ashton Ray and Mary Ida (Peacock) Grymes. She was a graduate of Kenwood High School, Baltimore, MD. She was a member of Jehovahs Witness, York who enjoyed preaching the good news. She was a collector of antiques, an interior decorator, enjoyed gardening and playing her guitar. In addition to her husband, Mrs. Norris leaves behind a daughter, Stacey Dawn Rountree; two grandsons, Joshua and Ashton Rountree; a sister Francis Welch and husband, Andy; nephew, Charles Welch; and niece, Sydonie Walther. A final message from Ruth, I have loved my family, husband, Buz, daughter Stacey, and grandsons, Joshua and Ashton James A.J.. All of you I have loved dearly. To my brothers and sisters at the Prospect Kingdom Hall, you gave me the spiritual support I truly needed. I look forward to seeing all of you again because the resurrection hope I hold dear. To my dear neighbors, the Hammes and Anstine, you also are close to my heart. My loving family, spiritual family and neighbors did not hesitate to comfort me and aid me, and my love for you will never die.
