Ruth A. Ludwig

Lock Haven - Ruth A. Ludwig, 93 died Thursday, December 20, 2007 at Lock Haven Extended Care Unit. She was born in Humbert, PA on April 21, 1914 the daughter of the late William P. & Maude L (Saxton) Weber. Ruth was married to Edward F. Ludwig who died in 1969. She was employed at the former Grant Store on Lock Haven as a sales clerk. Ruth was a former volunteer at the Salona Senior Citizen Center and she enjoyed crafts and animals. Surviving are three sons Allan (Pat) Hooven of Castanea, Jack (Ann) Hooven of Brookville and Bill (Brenda) Hooven of Mackeyville Nine Grandchildren Six great Grandchildren Four Great-Great Grandchildren One Brother William Weber of Lock Haven She was preceded in death by one Sister Mary Galentine and two brothers Amos and Melvin. The Funeral Service will be held 2:00 P.M. Sunday, December 23, 2007 at the Helt Funeral Chapel, 232 Hogan Blvd., Mill Hall with Pastor Alan Eckenroad officiating. Friends and relatives will be received at the funeral home one hour prior to the service.
