Ruth A. Graham

YORK – Ruth A. (Pavlik) Graham, 87, passed away Sunday, September 29, 2024 at her home. She was the wife of the late Edward S. Graham.

A Celebration of Life Tribute Service will be held at 11:00 AM Friday, October 25, 2024 at Olewiler & Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 35 Gotham Place, Red Lion with Rev. Kyle Sahd officiating. A visitation will be held from 10-11:00 AM Friday at the Funeral Home. Mrs. Graham’s urn will be placed with her husband Edward at National Cemetery of the Alleghenies, Bridgeville, PA at 10:30 AM Friday, November 8, 2024 with Rev. Ben Vaghetto officiating. Born June 23, 1937 in Pittsburgh, PA a daughter of the late Frank and Marie (Mitruski) Pavlik, she earned her Bachelor’s Degree from Duquesne University. Mrs. Graham had worked at the former Beckman Co. and later retired from Keystone Cone Co. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in York and had been a longtime parishioner at St. Margaret of Scotland Church in Green Tree, PA. Ruth enjoyed going on bus trips sponsored by the Dallastown American Legion, attending the JOY support group at St. Joe’s, and participating in activities at Longstown Village and Dallastown Golden Age Club. Prior to moving to York, Ruth would golf at Mt. Lebanon Golf Course where she won numerous Club Championships in her flight.

Mrs. Graham is survived by two sons, John F. Graham of Center Valley, PA and Paul E. and wife Denise Graham of Antioch, CA; a daughter, Mary C. and husband Sal Cuomo of York; five grandchildren, Lindsey Graham, Alexas and Kelly Quilty, Claire Graham, Anthony Cuomo, and Evan Graham; a great granddaughter, Ryan Quilty; and a sister, Dorothy “Dottie” Schultz of Bridgeville.
