Russell L. Reitenbach

WELLSVILLE- Russell L. Reitenbach, 66, died on Sunday, January 17, 2010 at his residence. He was the loving husband of Iris V. (Whiteside) Reitenbach. The couple had been married for 43 years. A viewing will be held from 6-8 p.m. Thursday, January 21, 2010 at Beaver-Urich Funeral Home, 125 N. Front St., Lewisberry Mr. Reitenbach was born on February 14, 1943 in Summerdale, PA., the son of the late Lester and Violet (Kauffman) Reitenbach. Russell worked as a truck driver for Carolina Freight for 18 years until his retirement in 1984. Mr. Reitenbach and his wife, Iris, were past members of the former Mechanicsburg Assembly of God. Mr. Reitenbach served our country for three years in the U.S. Army during peacetime as well as the Air National Guard. Along with his wife, Mr. Reitenbach is survived by three sons, Rick Reitenbach and his wife, Debbie of Tualatin, OR, Ronald Reitenbach and his wife, Karen of Harrisburg, and William Reitenbach of Enola; one daughter, Andrea McMillan and her husband, Terry of Fountain, CO.; five grandchildren, Kyle, Sara, Bill Jr., Brittani and Hannah Reitenbach; two step grandchildren, David and Alyssa; two sisters, Gloria Turman and her husband Pete of Blain, and Beverly Sterner of Mechanicsburg; two nieces and one nephew.
