Russell B. Tanner, Jr.

WILLIAMSPORT - Russell B. Tanner, Jr., 59, passed away Wednesday, January 18, 2012 at the Williamsport Hospital Regional Medical Center. He was born May 19, 1952 in Philadelphia the son of the late Russell B. and Anna (Mosley) Tanner. Russell was married to the former Arrianna O. Barbee on July 24, 1976. They celebrated 35 years of marriage together. He worked for PP&L in Montoursville and earlier at GTE Sylvania. He was a member of Shiloh Baptist Church. Russell enjoyed bowling, Penn State Football and sports. Surviving are his loving wife Arrianna and one son Desmond at home. Russell is survived by a host of cousins, aunts and uncles. The funeral service will be held 10:30 A.M., Monday, January 23, 2012 at the Allen & Redmond Funeral Home, 331 Elmira Street, Williamsport with Janice Sapp officiating. There will be a public viewing from 9:30 – 10:30 A.M. Interment will follow at Twin Hills Memorial Park.
