MOUNTAIN TOP-Rudolph E. Anduze, Sr., 95, of Mountain Top, passed away Wednesday, August 31, 2011, in the Department of Veteran Affairs Medical Center, Plains Township. Born in St. John’s, U.S. Virgin Islands on August 6, 1916, he was a son of the late Carl Anduze and Evelyn (Sewer) Johnson. He was a graduate of Coughlin High School. In 1968, he retired as a Master Sergeant after serving 26 years in the United States Air Force and was a veteran of World War II. Mr. Anduze was a former member of Bethel A.M.E. Church, Golden Rule Lodge #15, V.F.W. Post 238, Kingston and a life member of the Disabled American Veterans. He enjoyed photography and gardening and had a love of Jazz music. He was preceded in death by his wife, the former Gladys Ruby Ada Neal, who passed away May 30, 2008; brothers Aubrey, Roy and Carl Anduze; sister Eldra Anduze. Surviving are his daughters, Brenda Anduze and Leigh Tiebout; sons Carl, Rudolph Jr. and Neal Anduze; grandchildren, Karl Wilmore, Alexander, Brion, Nathan and Rachal Anduze; great-grandchildren; Joshua, Tawny, Travis Wilmore, Gabriel Rudolph Anduze; several nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be private and at the convenience of the family. Interment will be in Oak Lawn Cemetery, Hanover Township. Arrangements have been entrusted to Kniffen O’Malley Funeral Home, Inc., 465 South Main Street, Wilkes-Barre.
