Milton - Rudolf L. Bentlage, 78 passed away Friday, October 26, 2007 at his residence. He was born in Corona, New York June 10, 1929 the son of the late Ludwig & Anna (Krein) Bentlage. Rudolf was married to the former Mary "Grace" Giunta on January 16, 1965 they recently celebrated their 42nd wedding anniversary together. He was employed as a plant comptroller at the former Shipper's Carline in Milton for 37 ½ years retiring in 1991. He was a member of St. Joseph's Church, Elks, Turbot Hills Golf Club and he was an avid golfer and former bowler. He was a 1952 graduate of the University of Rhode Island where he received a degree in accounting. Surviving are his loving wife: Two daughters Carol (Greg) Geedey of Lewisburg and Jackie (Mark) Brown of Harrisburg 5 grandchildren (Mackenzie, Jacob, Cory, Taylor and Kennedy) One brother Erwin (Lois) Bentlage of Johnson City, NY Also several Nieces and Nephews He was preceded in death by a daughter Susan. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, October 30, 2007 at St. Joseph Church, 109 Broadway Street, Milton with Rev. Thomas A. Scala officiating. Friends and relatives will be received at the Dale Ranck Funeral service, 125 N. Front Street, Milton, Monday from 6:00 - 8:00 P.M. A prayer service will be held at 5:45 P.M. Interment will be at St. Joseph Cemetery. Memorial contributions can be made in his memory to Crohn's & Colitis Foundation of America, 386 Park Ave., S. 17th Floor, N.Y.N.Y. 10016
