Rudell S. Stanberry

RED LION- Rudell S. (Bolyard) Stanberry, 84, died peacefully at her daughter's home on Saturday, September 1, 2007. She was the widow of the late Gerald D. Stanberry. A Funeral Tribute Service will be 10 a.m.Wednesday, September 5, 2007 at Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 1551 Kenneth Rd., York with her pastor, the Rev. Roger Barnett officiating. A viewing will be 6-8:00 p.m. Tuesday, September 4, 2007 at the funeral home. Mrs. Stanberry was born January 12, 1924 in Tunnelton, WV, a daughter of the late Claude and Mae (Reams) Bolyard. She was a member of the former Taxville Full Gospel Church and the First Assembly of God. Mrs. Stanberry was employed with Danskin, Inc. until retiring, in the 70's. Her children and her grandchildren were her life. She enjoyed quilting and singing and loved to attend church. Surviving Mrs. Stanberry is her son, Wayne L. and his wife, Nancy E. Stanberry of Manteo, NC; her daughter, Joyce E. and her husband Robert L. McCauslin of Red Lion; seven grandchildren, Todd Stanberry, Tracey Clark, Tami Harper, Andrea Shyver, Stacey Robinson, Rosti Vana III, and Kelly Vana; 14 great grandchildren and one on the way. Preceding her in death are her two daughters, Orpha and Donna, and her son, Jerry.
