Ruby V. (Yankey) Maciver

YORK- Ruby V. (Yankey) MacIver passed away on Saturday, February 14, 2015 at York Hospital. She was the wife of the late Allan P. “Mac” MacIver. A memorial service will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Sunday, February 22, 2015 at Dover Bethany United Methodist Church, 4510 Bull Rd. in Dover with a visitation from 1-1:30p.m. Her pastor, The Reverend Sal Buonocore will be officiating at the service. Burial will be private in Salem Union Cemetery in Dover. Mrs. MacIver was born in York on July 27, 1929, the daughter of the late Wesley F. and Susie V. (Dunavin) Yankey. She retired from Rutter’s Dairy. After retirement, she worked at PADE Auction, and was currently a senior companion at Country Meadows. Mrs. MacIver was a member of Dover Bethany United Methodist Church and was a member of NAMI (National Alliance of Mentally Ill), Farm Ladies, and Red Hat Society. Mrs. MacIver leaves two sons, Allan W. MacIver of Hanover and John E. MacIver and his wife Kim of Lancaster; a daughter, Sue F. MacIver of York, and two granddaughters, Megan and Morgan MacIver. A son, Richard B. MacIver preceded her in death.
