Ruby Lee Balmer

KINGSTON-Ruby Lee Balmer, 65, formerly of New Jersey, passed away Sunday, October 7, 2012 at Kingston Commons. Born in Seaboard, NC, she was a daughter of the late Edward and Ruth (Johnson) Daniels. Prior to retiring, she was employed as a Dietary Aide in Plainfield, NJ. She was preceded in death by a sister, Alice Mae Cherry. Surviving are her son, James Balmer, North Carolina; daughter Dionna Balmer, Wilkes-Barre; grandchildren Yahnae Gaskin, Taleeah Butler, Malaisia Balmer and Jamie Balmer; brothers, John and Adolph Daniels, both of New Jersey; Neils Daniels, North Carolina; twin sister, Ruth Harris, Wilkes-Barre; sisters Cora Inell Balmer and Katie Sue Green, both of New Jersey; a host of nieces and nephews. Services will be private and at the convenience of the family. Arrangements have been entrusted to Kniffen O’Malley Funeral Home, Inc., 465 S. Main Street, Wilkes-Barre.
