Royle B. Berg" Bergenstock

MONTANDON - Royle B. "Berg" Bergenstock, 77, died on Sunday, August 19, 2007 at the Geisinger Medical Center, Danville. He was the husband of the late Norma J. (Seidell) Bergenstock who had died in 1984 and to who he was married to for 27 years. Royle was born on May 5, 1930 in Danville and was a son of the late Roger W. and Malda M. (Blue) Bergenstock. In 1951, he was drafted by the U.S. Army for the Korean War and was stationed in Germany up to 1953 where he served as maintenance. He was a former employee of ACF, TRW and Philco. He enjoyed fishing, camping, boating, tinkering on old automobiles. He enjoyed the times he spent with friends and family. When "Berg" was involved with helping someone, there were always good memories to be had. He was an honest, old school kind of guy with a huge heart. He was a big country music fan; mainly George Jones, Hank Williams and Merle Haggard. Royle is survived by two daughters; Glenda B. Cook and Tracie J. Bergenstock, both of Montandon, two grandchildren; Robert A. Cook of Montandon and Renee A. Cook of Sunbury, one brother and sister-in-law; Larry W. and Nancy J. Bergenstock of Milton, RD, one niece, and three nephews. There will be a gathering of friends to celebrate "Berg's" life from 7 to 8 p.m. Saturday, August 25, 2007 at the Dale E. Ranck Funeral Service, 125 N. Front St., Milton.
