Roy Paul Winters

YORK- Roy Paul Winters, 62 died on Wednesday, May 8, 2013 at his residence. He was the fiancé of Linda L. (Wolf) Bunty. A celebration of life tribute service will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, May 11, 2013 at Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 1551 Kenneth Rd., York with Certified Celebrant Betty Frey officiating. A visitation will be from 1-2 p.m. prior to the service. Born on September 6, 1950 in York, he was the son of Betty M. (Lightner) Kennedy. Roy was a Supervisor for Borg-Warner, Inc. until his retirement. Mr. Winters was a member of the Shiloh Lions Club, York County Corvette Club and the Blueberry Hill Hunting Camp in Canton, PA. Along with his fiancé, Linda, Roy is survived by one daughter, Shelli Gannett of Ocean City, MD; one step son, Chris Bunty of Dover; two grandchildren, Daniel Myers and Katlyn Myers; and one great granddaughter, Kasilyah Myers.
