Roy L. Lamotte

RED LION – Roy L. LaMotte passed away peacefully Wednesday, November 19, 2014 at 4:15 pm after a brief battle with cancer with wife Brenda L. (Hildebrand) LaMotte by his side, to whom he just celebrated their 45th wedding anniversary. Roy was born in York on October 26, 1949. He was the son of Helen (Hoke) LaMotte and the late LeRoy H. LaMotte. He attended York Suburban High School, York College, and Miami-Dade. He worked for Noxell Corp. now known as Procter & Gamble as IT Manager – Technical Services & Support and retired from there after 27 years. He enjoyed going to his grandchildren’s sporting events, hunting, and road trips on the Harley’s with family. In addition to his wife and mother, Roy is survived by three sons, Michael and wife Christy of York, John and wife Ann of State College, and Andy and friend Monica of York; and four grandchildren, Paige and Madelyn LaMotte of York and Owen and Molly LaMotte of State College. A celebration of life tribute service will be held at 1:00 PM Monday, November 24, 2014 at Life Tributes by Olewiler & Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 35 Gotham Place, Red Lion. A visitation will be held from 12-1:00 PM Monday at the Funeral Home.
