Roy E. Barnhart, Jr.

ALBURTIS - Roy E. Barnhart, Jr., 27, formerly of Milton, died on Sunday, April 28, 2013 at his residence. Roy was born on January 17, 1986 in Bloomsburg and was the son of Roy E. Barnhart of Milton and the late Linda A. (Stigerwalt) Barnhart. He was a 2004 graduate of Milton High School and then received his Bachelor’s degree from Clarion University in Business Economics. He was an onsite plant manager at Rehrig Pacific Logistics in Bethlehem. He had attended Christ Wesleyan Church in Milton. He was a member of Beta Gamma Sigma Honorary Society, Omicron Delta Epsilon Honorary Society and Phi Eta Sigma National Honorary Society. He enjoyed cars, skydiving, zip lining, hunting, camping, cards, researching things of life, especially owning his own business one day and spending time with his friends and family. In addition to his father, he is survived by his step mother; Cynthia Barnhart, one sister; Judy E. Magliane of Columbia, SC, one step-sister and brother-in-law; Christy and Travis Bowen of Milton, grandmother; Joyce Barnhart of Danville, step grandparents; Fred and Rachel Keister of Mifflinburg and two nieces; Chryslynn Magliane of Columbia, SC and Alexia Bowen of Milton. In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by one sister; Gina Lynn Barnhart and grandfather; Howard Barnhart, Jr. There will be a public viewing from 1 to 2 p.m. Friday, May 3, 2013 at the Christ Wesleyan Church, 363 Stamm Road, Milton, PA 17847 with the funeral service to begin at 2:00 p.m. Pastor Ken Paulhamus will officiate the services. Burial will follow in Harmony Cemetery. Arrangements are being handled by The Dale E. Ranck Funeral Service, 125 N. Front St., Milton, PA 17847.
