Roxie D. (Stump) Frey

WHITE DEER - Roxie D. (Stump) Frey, 77, died Monday, December 30, 2013 at Watsontown Health and Rehab, Watsontown. She was born in West Milton on May 28, 1936 and was the daughter of the late George and Cora (Hower) Stump. Roxie married the late H. James “Jim” Frey on February 05, 1971 and they celebrated 26 years of marriage together until his death on January 04, 1998. She had been attending the Church of New Hope, Forest Hill. Roxie was a member of the Watsontown Lioness Club and a past member of the Watsontown American Legion Post #323. She loved bingo, traveling around PA to different casinos, baking, collecting soda can tabs to raise money for people receiving dialysis treatments and traveling with Jim to Florida in the winter. Roxie is survived by one daughter; Peggy Lloyd of White Deer, one daughter-in-law; Patti Lloyd of White Deer, four grandchildren Corey Lloyd and wife Heather of Hughesville, Chad Lloyd and wife Katie of Hughesville, Cody Lloyd and his companion Tanya Workman of Milesburg and Jeremy Lloyd and wife Chastity of Red House, W.V., five great grandchildren; Cora, Ty, Landon, Hailey and Elieonna Lloyd, one great gread grandchild; Gannon Lloyd and one sister and brother-in-law; Peggy and Clarence Clemmens of Washingtonville. In addition to her parents and husband, Roxie was preceded in death by one son; Wayne Lloyd, four brothers; Alson, Wayne, Parven and Elwood and five sisters; Mary, Audrey, Marie, Verna and Ellen. All services will be conducted privately at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are being handled by The Dale E. Ranck Funeral Service, 125 N.
