Rosemarie Maroukis

Pottsville- Rosemarie Maroukis, 64, resident of Rest Haven Nursing Home, Schuylkill Haven, formerly of Pottsville, passed away Tuesday morning at the nursing home. Born in Pottsville on July 21, 1945, she was a daughter of the late Michael and Catherine Williams Maroukis. Rosemarie was a 1964 graduate of Pottsville High School. She worked for the former Pottsville Shirt Factory before becoming ill. She was a member of the former St. Joseph Church, Pottsville. She was a member of St. Patrick Church, Pottsville. In addition to her parents, Rosemarie was preceded in death by her sister, Sophie Santai. She is survived by her sister, Millie Mengel, wife of Carl, of Pottsville; her brother, George Maroukis, husband of Shirley, of Pottsville; several nieces and nephews. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday morning at 10:00 A.M. at St. Patrick Church, 4th & Mahantongo Streets, Pottsville. Friends may call on Friday morning from 8:30 A.M. until 9:30 A.M. at Schlitzer-Allen-Pugh Funeral Home, Inc., 6th & West Market Streets, Pottsville.
