Rosemarie A. (Tritter) Felker

NEW CUMBERLAND – Rosemarie A. (Tritter) Felker, 73, passed away Wednesday, October 2, 2013 at her home. She was the wife of the late Alvin D. Felker. A graveside service will be held at 10:00 AM Monday, October 7, 2013 at Tri-County Memorial Gardens, 740 Wyndamere Rd., Lewisberry, PA 17339 with Rev. Dann Caldwell, Chaplain of Homeland Hospice officiating. Beaver Urich Funeral Home, Inc., 305 West Front Street, Lewisberry is in charge of arrangements. Born April 14, 1940 in Berlin, Germany, a daughter of the late Bruno and Martha (Köhn) Tritter, she was a talented seamstress and had worked at Kaufmann’s Dept. Store. Most recently, Rosemarie had worked part-time at Coakley’s Restaurant. Mrs. Felker is survived by a son, Alvin Daniel Felker, Jr. of New Cumberland; two stepdaughters, Mary Ann and husband Ken Bittner of New Cumberland and Lynn Whitzel of Carlisle; four grandchildren, Christopher Hommel, Alicia M. Felker, Brandon and wife Beth Bittner, and Amy and husband Scott Smith; four great grandchildren, Noah, Evan, and Jayden Felker, and Emily Bittner; two brothers, Ortwin and Jürgen Tritter both of Berlin; and a sister, Gisela and husband Ernie Weeks of Friendswood, TX.
