Rosella R. (Kling) Ness

DOVER-Rosella R. (Kling) Ness, 67, of Conewago Township died Wednesday, June 18, 2014 at her daughter's residence. She was the wife of the late Harold F. Ness. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 2 p.m. on Monday, June 23, 2014 at Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 1551 Kenneth Rd. in York, with a viewing from 1-2 p.m. Chaplain Jeremy Blount will be officiating at the service. Burial will be in Paddletown Cemetery in Newberry Township. Mrs. Ness was born in York on November 17, 1946, the daughter of George S. Kling and Deanie F. (Harris) Kline. She retired after over 30 years as a clerk for PADE Auto Auction. Mrs. Ness was a former member of both the Liberty Social Club and White Rose Polka Club. She enjoyed dancing, puzzles, books, and watching television. Mrs. Ness leaves a daughter, Portia L. Michalak and her husband, Nicholas, III; two grandchildren, Jennifer Michalak and Nicholas Michalak, IV; a brother, Patrick Kline; and five sisters, Anna Brugger, Frances Nelson, Betty Michalak, Penny Raynes, and Deanna Kline. Two brothers had preceded her in death, Henry Kling and Daniel Kline. Memorial contributions may be made to White Rose Home Health, and Hospice, 1412 6th Ave., York, PA 17403.
