Rose M. Duncan

YORK- Rose Marie (Miller) Duncan, 78 of West Manchester Twp., passed away on Tuesday, October 20, 2015 at York Hospital. She was the wife of Richard A. Duncan. Mrs. Duncan was born in York on December 19, 1936, the daughter of the late Harry E. and Annie R. (Stambaugh) Miller. She worked at the former Franklin Discount, Tagway Shoe Store, and Jack’s Department Store. She enjoyed reading, dancing, crafts, playing cards, and spending time with her grandchildren. Mrs. Duncan leaves two sons, Kenneth E. Duncan and his wife Elizabeth of York and Scott A. Duncan and his wife Vicki of York; three daughters, Joyce E. Helf and her husband Patrick of York, Susan M. Zimmerman and her husband William of York, and Cheryl A. Rosengrant and her husband Gary of Dover; ten grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; two brothers, Ervin and Gerald Miller; and a sister, Anna Mae Naftal. Memorial contributions may be made to York Cancer Center, Patient Help Fund Suite 194, 25 Monument Rd., York, PA 17403. Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc. 1551 Kenneth Rd. in York is assisting the family with the arrangements. Services will be private, with interment in Prospect Cemetery in York.
