Rosalind H. Roz" Riedel

TROY- Rosalind H. "Roz" Riedel, 85, of the Martha Lloyd Community in Troy, PA, passed away in her home after a lengthy battle with cancer on Friday, February 16, 2007. Friends are welcome to call from 1:00-2:00 P.M. on Tuesday, February 20, 2007 at the Gerald W. Vickery, Jr. Funeral Home Inc., 110 West Main Street, Troy, PA. The funeral service will be held after the visitation at 2:00 P.M. on Tuesday, February 20th at the funeral home. Rev. Jeffrey Wilkinson, Chaplin for Guthrie Hospice, will be officiating. Burial will be at the convenience of Rosalind's family and will be in Green Wood Cemetery in Brooklyn, NY. Rosalind was born on February 24, 1922 in Brooklyn, NY. She was the daughter of the late Hans and Helen (Benneche) Riedel. She grew up in Montclair, NJ with her parents. Roz has been a resident of the Martha Lloyd Community since July of 1968. She worked in the Copper Tree Gift Shop and enjoyed painting as one of her talents. Rosalind is survived by her many friends at Martha Lloyd and the Restrepo and Porcelli families.
