Rosalie V. (Ludwig) Stine

WINDSOR – Rosalie V. (Ludwig) Stine passed away Saturday, October 20, 2012 at her home. She was the wife of Robert H. Stine to whom she was married for 57 years. A celebration of life tribute service will be held at 2:00 PM Sunday, November 11, 2012 at Pleasant Hills Christian Church, 5122 Earl Drive, Harrisburg. Life Tributes by Olewiler & Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 35 Gotham Place, Red Lion is in charge of arrangements. Born February 23, 1938 in Spry, a daughter of the late Ceryal S. and Bertha E. (Falkenstine) Ludwig, she was a freelance artist and writer. Mrs. Stine had a great love of the outdoors and was a member of The Audubon Society, Sierra Club, National Wildlife Foundation, and the Chesapeake Bay Foundation. In addition to her husband Robert, Mrs. Stine is survived by four daughters, Lorie A. Leahy of Red Lion, Mary I. Chesney of Harrisburg, Martha C. Rohrbaugh of Glen Rock, and Elizabeth C. StineReed of Windsor; a son, Timothy R. Stine of Glen Rock; 15 grandchildren; six great grandchildren; and two sisters, Barbara L. Stambaugh of Wrightsville and Vicky Bowman of Spry. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Nelson and Carlton Ludwig.
