Rosalie N. Kokta

RED LION--Rosalie N. Kokta, 84, passed away Wednesday, October 5, 2022 at her residence in Red Lion Borough.

A Celebration of Life Tribute will be private at the convenience of the family. Olewiler & Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 35 Gotham Place, Red Lion is in charge of arrangements.

Born February 7, 1938 in Baltimore, MD, she was a daughter of the late Frank and Mary (Klima) Kokta.

In addition to being a devoted homemaker for her family, she also worked as a shoemaker in the Baltimore area for several years and later at Kay Jewelers.

An avid gardener, she would spend hours tending to her yard and flower gardens. She loved animals, especially her dog, Ty. She also enjoyed watching her favorite tv shows and movies, as well as reading and playing bingo.

Ms. Kokta is survived by her nephew, Kenneth J. Kokta and his wife, Jennifer; great nieces, Natalie L. Crouse and her husband, Matthew and Hannah L. Kokta; great nephew, Kenneth G. Kokta; great-great niece, Ellie Crouse, many other nieces, nephews and helpful and attentive neighbors.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to American Diabetes Association, PO Box 7023, Merrifield, VA 22116-7023.
