RED LION- Rosalie (Baio) Macaluso, 68, died peacefully on Saturday, December 18, 2021 at her residence, with her family by her side. She was the wife of Francesco Paolo Macaluso to whom she was married for 43 years. A celebration of life memorial service will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, January 15, 2022 at Olewiler & Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 35 Gotham Pl., Red Lion is in charge of arrangements. Born on November 1, 1953 in Agrigento, Italy, she was a daughter of the late Giuseppe and Giovanna (Russo) Baio. Rosalie was a bank teller. Mrs. Macaluso was a member of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in York. She loved painting, fashion, 60’s and 70’s music and most importantly, spending time with her family. Along with her husband, Francesco, Rosalie is survived by her son, Franco Macaluso and his wife, Heather of York; daughter, Maria Thomas and her husband, Matthew of Red Lion; two grandchildren, Roman Macaluso and Isabella Thomas; brother, Frank Baio; and two sisters Angelina Cilluffo and Madeline LaMendola. She was preceded in death by her sister Phyllis Graceffa. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to The Michael J. Fox Foundation, Donation Processing, P.O.
