Rosa L. Roebuck

Rosa L. Roebuck, 77 passed away Friday, November 19, 2010 at the Williamsport Home. She was born April 19, 1933 in Athens, GA the daughter of Vanderbilt and Jesse Mae Roebuck. She is survived by two sons Otis L. (Betty) Roebuck and James B. Woods both of Williamsport and also a daughter Surphonia (Gregory, Sr.) Ousley of Williamsport. Twenty-six grandchildren and twenty seven great-grandchildren. Three daughters Roberta Woods-Roberts, Vonda Lee Woods and Suzanne Woods also a brother Vanderbilt Roebuck, Jr, preceded her in death. Rosa's family would like to give special thanks to the loving and caring staff at the Williamsport Home during her ten years as a resident. The funeral service will be held 7:00 P.M., Friday, November 26, 2010 at the Allen & Redmond Funeral Home, 331 Elmira St., with Rev. Monica Freeman officiating. There will be a public viewing one hour prior to the service. Interment will be private. Memorials: Friday, November 26, 2010 at 7:00 P.M. Cemetery: Private interment Visitation: One hour prior to the service.
