Ronald L. Seid, Sr.

Ronald L. Seid Sr., age 72, of Renovo, died peacefully at his residence on Wednesday, Jan. 12, 2011, with his family at his bedside. He was born in Renovo on March 30, 1938, a son of the late Arthur L. and Mary Ross Seid. He worked as a truck driver for the Quality Grinding Co. in Michigan and previously worked as a welder at Berwick Forge and Fabricating in Renovo. Ronald loved spending his free time at home especially with his family. On September 1, 1973, he married Catharine A. Kathy McIntosh, who survives at home .Also surviving are his sons: Ronald L. Seid Jr. of Clinton Twp., Michigan, Christopher Seid of Mill Hall, Randy (Theresa) Seid of Holland, Michigan, Fred (Kim) LaVigne of Warren, Michigan, Steven LaVigne of Florida, Allen( Renee) LaVigne of Chesterfield, Michigan, daughter: Sally (Jay) Polhamus of Warren, Michigan, and 17 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. Also sisters: Dolly Brown of Clinton Twp., Michigan, Jane (Barry) Moll of New Baltimore, Michigan, Shery OBrien of Renovo and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded by one brother and one sister. As per his wishes there will be no visitation or services. A family memorial service may be planned for a later date.
