Ronald L. Roupp

Troy Pennsylvania Ronald L. Roupp, age 65 of Exchange Street Troy, PA passed away Sunday evening November 30, 2008 at home with his family at his side. Family and friends are invited to call Thursday, December 4, 2008 from 1 to 2 PM at the Gerald W. Vickery, Jr. Funeral Home, Inc. 110 West Main Street, Troy, PA. Ron's funeral service will be held at the conclusion of calling hours at 2 PM. Interment with Full Military Honors will follow in Bradford County Memorial Park, Luthers Mills, PA. Ron was born July 5, 1943 in Troy PA, son of the late Loren and Airetta (Gayles) Roupp and was a graduate of Troy High School Class of 1961. Following high school he served his country with the US Air Force from 1962 to 1966 and was awarded the Good Conduct Medal. Ron worked at Masonite, which later became Craftmaster Manufacturing, Inc. in Towanda, PA. His memberships included the Troy Veterans Club, Troy Rod & Gun Club. He enjoyed spending time with his family. In his spare time Ron found great pleasure in wildlife, hunting, fishing and shooting targets. Survivors include his two sons, Loren (Michelle Pellegrini) Roupp of Troy, PA and John (Michelle) Roupp of Columbia Cross Roads, PA, a brother Edward (Clair) Butler of Elmira, NY, grandchildren, Quentin, Jessica, Zachary Roupp, Lacy Benson, Damein, Ashley and Harley Roupp, former wife and caregiver Dawn Lewis of Troy, PA, several nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and his two special feline friends, Josh & Jake.
