Ronald L. Eaton, Sr.

Ronald L. Eaton, Sr., 78, died on Sunday, July 11, 2021 at his residence. He was the husband of Agnes (Zagel) Eaton to whom he was married for 59 years. Services for Mr. Eaton are private at the convenience of the family. Olewiler & Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 35 Gotham Pl., Red Lion is in charge of arrangements. Born on February 13, 1943 in York, he was a son of the late Lester N. and Nizzia E. (Cave) Eaton. Ronald was a tool and die maker for Hoover Design until his retirement. Mr. Eaton served our country for six years in the United States Army. He was a life member of the American Legion Post #127 where he was a former commander and a member of the 40&8. Ronald loved spending time with his grandchildren. Along with his wife, Agnes, Ronald leaves two sons, Robert T. Eaton and his wife, Bonnie of Red Lion and Randall L. Eaton and his wife, Melissa of Airville; daughter, Cynthia A. Stump and her husband, Darin of Wrightsville; two grandchildren, Ryan L. Eaton and his wife, Charlene and Heather N. Stump and her fiancé, Patrick; two great grandchildren, Steven R. Robinson and Sky L. Eaton; two brothers, Dale Knudsen and his wife, Lori of Lewisberry and Dave L. Eaton of York; three sisters, Pamela Anderson and her husband, Ray of York, Joann Largares and her husband, Junior of York and Joan Frey of York; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his son and daughter in law, Ronald Eaton, Jr. and Peggy Eaton; brothers, Norman, Robert, Steve and Mike; and a sister, Theda. CLICK HERE TO SEND FLOWERS
