FELTON--Ronald I. Flinchbaugh, 83, passed away Tuesday, January 16, 2024 at York Hospital. He was the husband of Linda N. (Young) Flinchbaugh to whom he was married for 51 years.


A Celebration of Life Tribute will be private at the convenience of the family. Olewiler & Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 35 Gotham Place, Red Lion is in charge of arrangements.


Born September 22, 1940 in Windsor, he was a son of the late Paul and Bernice (Frey) Flinchbaugh.


He was employed as a raw mason for many years with Merlin L. Myers Masonry and member of the Bricklayers & Allied Craftworkers Union – Local 5.


An avid outdoorsman, he enjoyed hunting and fishing. He also often volunteered his time stocking local area streams and waterways, was a member of Craley Fish & Game and together with his wife, Linda, provided lots of love and care to several dogs throughout the years.


In addition to his wife, Mr. Flinchbaugh is also survived by his son, Timothy I. Flinchbaugh and his wife, Cheryl of Lititz; three grandchildren, Katherine E. Antic and her husband, Paul of York; Kelsey V. Beauregard and her husband, Matthew of Norristown and Thomas J. Flinchbaugh and his fiancée, Michelle of North Bethesda, MD; two great grandchildren, Maddox and Iris; one brother, Ray Flinchbaugh of Red Lion; one sister, Marlene Kraft of Windsor and nieces and nephews.


In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to SPCA, 3159 N. Susquehanna Trail, York, Pa 17406.
