BROGUE - Ronald E. Vannoy, 64, died on Thursday, March 5, 2015 at Memorial Hospital. He was the husband of Kay M. (Goodling) Vannoy. The couple had been married for 41 years. A celebration of life tribute service will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday, March 13, 2015 at Life Tributes by Olewiler & Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 35 Gotham Pl., Red Lion with Pastor Ron Druck officiating. Viewings will be from 6-9 p.m. on Thursday and 9-10 a.m. Friday, both at the funeral home. Burial will be in Antioch Baptist Church Cemetery in Stewartstown. Born on September 27, 1950 in Stewartstown, he was a son of Doris M. (Cordrey) Vannoy and the late Millard Vannoy, Sr. Ronald was a machinist for Catepillar for 30 years where he helped create the Trauma Team. He then drove truck for Leiphart Trucking until 2010 and also helped deliver milk for Brown Cow Country Market. Mr. Vannoy was a member of Goram Baptist Church. Ronald was an EMT and coordinator for Red Lion Area Ambulance for many years. In his spare time, he loved traveling to the mountains and was an avid outdoorsman. Along with his wife, Kay, Ronald is survived by one son, Travis Vannoy of York; one daughter, Angela Golden and her husband, Phillip of Airville; two grandsons, Tyler Golden and Sawyer Golden; one brother, Millard Vannoy, Jr. and his wife, Sylvia of Cambridge, MD; and one sister, Becky Bluett and her husband, Brian of Red Lion. Memorial contributions may be made to U.S. Renal Care Central York Dialysis, 1920 Queenswood Rd., York, PA 17403.
