DOVER- Ronald E. Markle “Bubby Juan Julio Chico Valdes Thriller”, 63, died on Sunday, June 3, 2018 at York Hospital. He was the husband of Wanda J. (Campbell) Markle to whom he spent the last 23 years with. A celebration of life tribute service will be held at 10 a.m. on Monday, June 11, 2018 at Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 1551 Kenneth Rd., York with Certified Celebrant, Betty Frey officiating. Viewings will be from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Sunday and 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. on Monday, both at the funeral home. Burial will be in Susquehanna Memorial Gardens with full military honors provided by the York County Veterans Honor Guard. Born on February 2, 1955 in York, he was a son of Nancy (Reinhold) Markle of Harrisburg and the late Spurgeon L. Markle. Ronald was a dedicated lead painter at Graham Architectural Products since 1981. Mr. Markle served our country in the U.S. Marine Corps. for one year. Ronald was a handyman and especially enjoyed woodworking. He also enjoyed camping, boating and riding his Harley Davidson. Ronald had a great heart and was always willing to give a helping hand. Most importantly, he was a wonderful son, husband, father and grandfather. Along with his wife, Wanda, Ronald is survived by two sons, Ronald Dorsey, Sr. and wife, Jennifer of York and Shannon Markle of Felton; four daughters, Tonya Mundy Fitz of York; Jessie Lehigh and husband, Jamie of York, Angie Markle of York and Jennifer Forthman and husband, Brandon, Sr. of Dallastown; several grandchildren and great grandchildren; five brothers, Larry Markle of Harrisburg, Paul Robert Markle and wife, Patricia of Thomasville, Donald Markle of West Virginia, David Markle and wife, Michelle of York and Timothy Markle, Sr. and wife, Heather of York. He was preceded in death by two grandsons, Shane Dorsey and Brandon Forthman, Jr.; five brothers, Dana Markle, Spurgeon Markle, Barry Markle and twins, Terry and Jerry Markle; and stepdaughter, Andrea Seager.
