Ronald E. Keasey

YORK- Ronald Eugene Keasey, 78, of North York Boro, passed away on Saturday, September 24, 2016 at his residence after losing his battle with cancer. He was the husband of Rodessa A. (Rayburn) Schaeberle Keasey. The couple would have celebrated their 25th wedding anniversary on December 14, 2016. A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held at 7 p.m. on Thursday, September 29, 2016 at Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 1551 Kenneth Rd. in York, with a visitation from 6-7 p.m. Certified Celebrant Brigitte Morgan will be officiating at the service. Mr. Keasey was born in North York on December 17, 1937, the son of Henry C. and Lottie (Gemmill) Keasey Lewis. He retired in 2000 from York International, now Johnson Controls after over 25 years of service. Mr. Keasey was a 1955 graduate of Central York High School. He was a 25 year club member at York International and was a member of the UAW local #1872. He was a 32 year member of Friend’s of Bill. He and his wife enjoyed two cross country trips by motorcycle. He served in the US Army. Along with his wife, he leaves two sons, Ronald E. Kessler of Felton and Tod R. Keasey of Mt. Wolf; a step daughter, Debbie Jetseck and her husband Bruce of Wood Lands, TX; a step son, Jeff Schaeberle and his wife Chris of Red Lion; six step grandchildren, Jennifer Thompson, Allison Duke, Joseph Wolf, and Ryan, Evan, and Emma Schaeberle; two step great grandsons; a brother; and six Persian cats whose company he enjoyed.
