RED LION - Ronald E. Hoffmaster, 57, passed away Thursday, February 1, 2007, at Lancaster General Hospital. He was the husband of Bonnie J. (Seaks) Hoffmaster. The couple celebrated their 36th wedding anniversary on June 27, 2006. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, February 6, 2007, at Life Tributes by Olewiler & Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 35 Gotham Place in Red Lion. Viewings will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday and from 1 to 2 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Winterstown E.V. Cemetery. Mr. Hoffmaster was born in Columbia, Lancaster County, on December 28, 1949, a son of Clifford R. and Faye (Wallace) Hoffmaster of Wrightsville. He was currently working for Tyco in Landisville and was a 1968 graduate of Eastern York High School. He was a member of Winterstown U.M. Church, lead singer for the variety band, Modern Age, an avid hunter, and a member of Craley Fish and Game and Moose Lodge in Chickies Rock. In addition to his wife and parents, Mr. Hoffmaster leaves a son, Douglas Hoffmaster of Craley; a daughter, Tracy Lowrey of Red Lion; a grandson, Tyler Jackson; and two sisters, Bonnie Shaffer of Wrightsville and Rose Taylor of Felton. Memorial contributions may be made to Kaltreider Benfer Library, 147 S. Charles St., Red Lion, PA 17356.
