Ronald E. Frey

Ronald E. Frey, 75, passed away Thursday, April 28, 2011 at Rest Haven Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. He was the loving husband of Patricia L. (Boyer) Frey to whom he was married 57 years. A graveside service will be 10:00 a.m., Monday, May 2, 2011 at Greenmount Cemetery with the Rev. Richard B. Starr officiating. A funeral cortege will form at the main entrance to the cemetery at 9:45 a.m. Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc. 1551 Kenneth Road, York is in charge of arrangements. Mr. Frey was born September 6, 1936 in York, a son of the late Chester H., Sr. and Clara Jane (Eater) Frey. He was a former employee of Fred Gregg Buick, York for 40 years until his retirement in 2000. He was an avid golfer, and in his earlier years enjoyed archery. In addition to his wife, Mr. Frey is survived by two sons; Ronald E. Frey, Jr. and wife, Yvonne M. of Spring Grove, and Ricky A. Frey and wife, Kelli A. of Windsor; three grandchildren, Jerry A. Frey and wife, Rachel of Dover, Nicholas A. Frey and wife, Melissa A. and Tyler J. Frey, all of Windsor; four great grandchildren, Casey, Zachary, Zoey and Madison; a brother Chester H. Frey, Jr. and wife, Doris of West York; and nephew, Michael Frey.
