Ronald E. Caldwell

YORK- Ronald E. Caldwell, 61, of North Codorus Twp., died Saturday, May 24, 2014 at his residence. He was the husband of the late Tina Caldwell. Following cremation services will be private. Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 1551 Kenneth Rd. in York is assisting the family with the arrangements. Ron was born in York on August 5, 1952, the son of Merle Caldwell of York and the late Mary Jane (Mentzer) Caldwell. He worked for the former Borg Warner in York. He was an avid hunter and outdoorsman and a 1970 graduate of West York Senior High. He served in the US Navy during the Vietnam War, where he performed in the Navy School of Music. Along with his father, Ron leaves a brother, Thomas Caldwell and his wife Paula of East Berlin.
