Ronald E. Beaver

YORK- Ronald E. Beaver, 66, died on Saturday, March 14, 2015 at Hershey Medical Center. Services for Mr. Beaver are private at the convenience of the family. Life Tributes by Olewiler & Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 35 Gotham Pl., Red Lion, is in charge of arrangements. Born on December 26, 1948 in Hanover, he was a son of the late Norval and Edna (Baer) Beaver. Ronald was a member of the Red Lion VFW Post #1446 and the Dallastown American Legion Post #605. He enjoyed dancing, traveling to the beach and coaching baseball and basketball when his children were younger. Mr. Beaver served our country for four years in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. Mr. Beaver is survived by one son, Gary Stabley and his wife, Aimee of Wayne; one daughter, Ashley Sweitzer and her husband, Dustin of Manchester; two grandchildren, Lucas Stabley and Aislin Sweitzer; three brothers, David L. Beaver and his wife, Katrina of Felton, Jay S. Beaver and his wife, Lori of Red Lion and Ray E. Beaver and his wife, Joann of Red Lion; two sisters, Sharon L. Young and her husband, John of York and Patricia A. Beck and her husband, Barry of Red Lion; and his stepmother, Norma J. (Sentz) Stabley Beaver of Red Lion.
