Ronald C. Nowell

WINDSOR TOWNSHIP- Ronald C. Nowell, 71, of Red Lion died Saturday, December 24, 2011 at his residence. Ron fought a courageous battle with cancer like the true Marine he was. He was the husband of Beverly E. (Stabley) Nowell. The couple celebrated their 23rd wedding anniversary on December 24th. Ron was born in Jamestown, NY on May 19, 1940, a son of the late Carl W. and Jannette (Ericson) Nowell. He retired in 2004 from Mastec of Ft. Myers, FL. Ron was a member of Dallastown American Legion Post 605, Red Lion Elks Club, and Hawk’s Gunning Club. He served in The US Marine Corps during the Vietnam War. Ron leaves two step children, Donald W. Werner and his wife Stacy of Windsor, Roxann L. Werner of York; two children, Steve C. Nowell of Jamestown, NY and Tracy L. Roemer of Jamestown, NY.
