Ronald C. Dellinger

YORK-Ronald C. Dellinger, 84 passed away Friday, February 11, 2022 at York Hospital. A Celebration of Life Ceremony will be held at 10:00 AM Friday, March 11, 2022 at Heffner Funeral Chapel and Crematory, Inc. 1551 Kenneth Road in York with Certified Celebrant Betty Frey officiating. Prior to the service, there will be a visitation from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM. Burial will follow at Susquehanna Memorial Gardens. Mr. Dellinger was born in York on January 14, 1938, the son of the late Clarence “Pete” and Alice (Holtzapple) Dellinger. He retired from McCrory’s Distribution Center in York. Mr. Dellinger attended William Penn High School. He enjoyed attending his grandson’s sporting events and had a passion for animals, especially dogs. He enjoyed watching TV, especially NASCAR and was a fan of Dale Earnhardt. He served in the US Army. Mr. Dellinger leaves two sons, Michael E. Dellinger and his wife Victoria of Dover and Joseph G. Dellinger of Dover; and a grandson, Devin M. Dellinger and his fiancé, Marissa James of West York. He was preceded in death by a brother, Terry Dellinger.
