WILKES-BARRE- Romayne A. (Thomas) Bosak, 66, of Wilkes-Barre, passed away, Friday evening, January 10, 2014, at Geisinger Wyoming Valley, Plains Township. Born in Wilkes-Barre, on March 3, 1947, she was the daughter of the late Thomas and Mary (McHugh) Thomas. She was a graduate of the E. L. Meyers High School 1965 class, she was active in the drama club and chorus. After graduation, she worked for Pennsylvania Gas & Water for several years. After 34 years with Commission on Economic Opportunity at Washington Square Apartments, she retired in 2008. Romayne had an extremely close group of long-time friends dating from her years at Meyers High School. She met and fell in love with her life-long husband, Charles “Charlie” Bosak. Romayne’s circle of friend’s grew through the years of employment at the gas company and Washington Square Apartments. She was deeply loved by all who knew her and will be missed by all. She was surrounded by close friends and relatives at the time of her peaceful passing. Romayne was an animal lover and often supported the S.P.C.A. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by; her husband, Charles A. Bosak, who passed away in 2009. Surviving are cousins, Dr. Ronald T. McHugh and his wife, Fran McPoland, Alexandria, VA, Kevin McHugh and his wife Mary McHugh, Langhorne, PA, James Gilbride, Esquire, and his wife, Sonia, Coral Gables, FL, nephews, Alexi, McHugh, Nick McHugh and James Gilbride, Nieces, Mollie Scheuermann, and her husband, Ryan, Jessica, Stephanie, two great nieces, Avery and Jordon. Friends are invited to attend a viewing on Monday from 2:00PM to 6:00PM at the Kniffen O’Malley Funeral Home, 465 S. Main Street, Wilkes-Barre, with a Celebration of Life Service at 6:00PM with Father Michael Kloton, of St. Andre Bessette Parish, officiating. Graveside services will be held on Tuesday at 1:30 PM at Oaklawn Cemetery, Hanover Township. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to S. P.C.A., 524 E. Main Street, Wilkes-Barre, PA 18702
