Romaine I. (Kohler) Frey

Red Lion—Romaine I. (Kohler) Frey, 80, passed away peacefully Wednesday, February 5, 2014 at York Hospital. She was married to Richard E. Stine, Sr who died in 1970 and later married Luther S. Frey who died in 1986. A Celebration of Life Service will be 2 PM, Monday, February 10, 2014 at Life Tributes by Olewiler & Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 35 Gotham Place, Red Lion with her pastor, the Rev. J. David Krape officiating. A viewing will be held from 1-2 PM, Monday at the funeral home. Burial will be held in New Fairview Church of the Brethren Cemetery. Born July 27, 1933 in York, she was a daughter of the late Reuben E. and Elsie V. (Wolever) Kohler. A loving and caring homemaker, she also enjoyed cooking for her family and visiting with her friends over breakfast at Dairyland Family Restaurant. She was a member of Yorkana Church of the Brethren and sang in a church choir. Mrs. Frey is survived by one son, Richard E. Stine, Jr., and his wife, Crystal of Red Lion; two grandsons, Nathan and Dustin Stine both of Red Lion; brother-in-law, Frederick Snyder of Red Lion and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by three sisters, Pauline Boyd, Rodessa Snyder and Rosetta “Dolly” Reichard. Mrs. Frey requested no flowers and memorial contributions not be made.
