Roland C. Raver

WINDSOR- Roland C. Raver, 92, passed Saturday February 24, 2018 at Manor Care Health Services York-South. He was the husband of Lois (Altland) Raver to whom he was married 67 years. Born October 13, 1925 in Columbia, Roland was a son of the late Roland Raver, Sr. and Edna (Wetzel) Raver. He worked in inventory control for 34 years at Cole Steel until his retirement in 1989. Mr. Raver served our country in the United States Army during World War II and the Korean War. Roland enjoyed bowling, swimming, dancing, miniature golf and watching football, especially the New England Patriots. In addition to his wife, Mr. Raver is survived by three daughters, Connie Walton of FL, Wendy Beaverson and her husband Robin of Windsor, and Amy Clarkson of Red Lion; four grandchildren; four great grandsons, and two brothers, Thomas Raver and his wife Wanda of MD, and Dennis Raver and his wife Linda of VA. Along with his parents, Roland was preceded in death by a son, Steven Raver, and a brother, James Raver. Burial will be in Susquehanna Memorial Gardens with private services at the convenience of the family.
