DALLASTOWN- Rodney J. Fuoco, 47, of Dallastown, died Monday, April 23, 2007 at York Hospital. He was the husband of Peggy (Strausbaugh) Fuoco. A Celebration of Life Service will be 7p.m. on Friday at Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 1551 Kenneth Rd. in York, with a visitation from 6-7 p.m. Full military honors will be rendered by York County Veterans Honor Guard at 7 p.m. prior to the service. Burial will be private. Rodney was born in Los Angeles, CA on May 22, 1959, a son of the late John Fuoco and Myrtle (Butcher) Freeman. He worked as a mechanic for Martin's Potato Chip Company in Thomasville. He was an avid fisherman and enjoyed hunting. He served in the US Navy for five years. Along with his wife, Rodney leaves a son, Austin J. Fuoco, at home, a brother, Richard Fuoco of North Hills, CA, a sister, Debbie Shymansky of Rosamond, CA, two step-brothers, Bruce Barfell of Glendale, CA and Stephen Barfell of Plano, TX, a step-mother, Evelyn Fuoco of Plano, TX, and mother and father-in-law, Donald and Maureen Strausbaugh of Red Lion, and nieces and nephews.
