Roberta R. (Hoover) Prince

SCRANTON - Roberta R. (Hoover) Prince, 64 of Scranton and a former resident of McElhattan died Friday, October 7, 2011 at Hospice of the Sacred Heart, Scranton. She was born September 7, 1947 in Lock Haven the daughter of the late Roy and Mary E. (Mumma) Hoover. Roberta was married to Jack E. Prince on January 11, 1969. They celebrated 42 years of marriage together. She was a former member of the McElhattan United Methodist Church. She enjoyed knitting and traveling. Roberta was a 1965 graduate of Lock Haven High School. Surviving are her husband and two nephews Tom Hoover and Robert Hoover both of Lock Haven. A brother Tom Hoover preceded her in death. The funeral service will be held 7:00 P.M., Tuesday, October 11, 2011 at the Helt Funeral Chapel, 232 Hogan Blvd., Mill hall with the Rev. Wayne Hixon officiating. Friends and relatives will be received at the funeral chapel one-hour prior to the service. Interment will be private at Dunnstown Cemetery.
