Roberta Mae Zimmerman

Red Lion—Roberta Mae (Burns) Zimmerman, 93, passed away Saturday, January 06, 2024 at Dallastown Nursing Center. She was the wife of the late Eugene H. Zimmerman to whom she was married for 67 years.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held 10:00AM, Monday, January 15, 2024 at Olewiler & Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 35 Gotham Place, Red Lion. Officiating the service will her pastor, the Rev. Larry Parlett. A viewing will be held from 9:00 – 10:00AM, Monday at the funeral home. Burial will be held in Susquehanna Memorial Gardens.

Born October 22, 1930 in York, she was a daughter of the late Milton E. Burns Sr., and Kathryn V. (Miller) Burns.

A loving and dedicated homemaker for her family, she was also a member of Bethany United Methodist Church and a part of their Christian Adults Sunday School. She was also a member of the Eastern Star, Rainbow Lodge and was a Cub Scout Den Mother for several years.

Mrs. Zimmerman is survived by two sons, Keith A. Zimmerman and wife, JoAnn, Eric E. Zimmerman and wife, Breanne; one daughter, Bobbie J. Eicholtz and husband, Gary; five grandchildren, Cain Zimmerman, Stacey Robinson and husband, Ethan, Amanda Mehring and husband, John, Kevin Eicholtz and Marta Eicholtz; 6 great grandchildren; one sister, Kathryn A. Snyder and niece and nephews. She was preceded in death by her brother, Milton E. Burns Jr.
