TROY- Robert W. "Bob" Murray, 62, of Columbia Crossroads, PA passed away on Monday, July 16, 2007 at the Bradford County Manor. Family and friends are welcome to call from 2:00-3:00 P.M. on Saturday, July 21, 2007 at the Gerald W. Vickery, Jr. Funeral Home Inc., 110 West Main Street, Troy, PA. The memorial service to honor Bob's life will be held Saturday at 3:00 P.M. with his pastor, Rev. Francis Montgomery, officiating. Bob was born on September 30, 1944 in Troy, PA. He was the son of the late Francis H. and Aileene (Allen) Murray. Bob was a graduate of Troy High School, class of 1962. He was a member of the Columbia Crossroads United Methodist Church. Bob was a farmer, and was a past board member of the Pennsylvania DHIA. Bowling was Bob's passion; he bowled in the Pennsylvania state tournament for over 15 years and has been inducted into the Troy, PA Bowling Hall of Fame. Bob is survived by his two brothers: Donald Allen (Irene) Murray of Columbia Crossroads, PA and Thomas Glenn Murray of Mainesburg, PA, his sister, Gayle (Murray) Kershner of Towanda, PA, his nieces and nephews: Troy Murray, Douglas (Valerie) Murray, Dale (Deonna) Kershner, Ryan (Sarah) Kershner, Susan (Greg) Moody, Jason Murray, Christopher Murray, and Steven (Sarah) Murray, his great nieces and nephews: Trey Murray, Abigail Murray, Madelyn Murray, Andrew Murray, Katelyn Murray, Dakota Kershner, Darra Kershner, Cody Kershner, Brittany Gilbert, Dylan Gilbert, Patrick Schon, Morgan Moody, and Haven Murray His parents and his brother-in-law George "Hoppi" Kershner preceded Bob in death. Contributions may be made in Bob's memory to the charity of one's own choosing.
