SPRINGFIELD-Robert V. Clark, 77, of Springfield, PA passed away peacefully on Friday, September 28, 2007 at his home surrounded by his family. He is the loving husband of Lois M. (Case) Clark, whom he married on June 20, 1954. The couple had 53 happy years together. Family and friends are welcome to call from 4:00-6:00 PM on Sunday, September 30, 2007 at the Gerald W. Vickery, Jr. Funeral Home, Inc. 110 West Main Street, Troy, PA. The funeral service to honor Bob's life will be held after the viewing at 6:00 PM on Sunday night, September 30th at the funeral home with Pastor Daniel Graham of Springfield Baptist Church officiating. Burial will be in Grover Hill Cemetery at the convenience of the family. Bob was born on August 24, 1930 in Springfield Township, Bradford County, PA. He was the son of the late Vern L. and Anna (Williams) Clark. Bob was a daily farmer, and later a carpenter, and he spent some enjoyable years working for Rush Gates in the planing mill. He was a member of the Springfield Baptist Church and was a former member of the Springfield Odd Fellows. Bob is survived by his wife Lois, his daughter Valerie (Robert) Hugg, Jr. of Springfield, PA, his grandchildren Darren E. (Ashley) Roy, Shauna (Jason) Kellogg, Stephanie Roy, all of Springfield, PA, and his great-grandson, Ty Kellogg; his sisters Eleanor Clark of Springfield, PA, Betty Brown of Troy, PA, Edna (Ken) Guthrie of Springfield, PA; his brothers-in-law Louis "Pete" Campbell and Larry Green; several nieces and nephews, and his special friends down at the "station". Bob was preceded in death by his parents, his brothers-in-law Willard Brown and Richard Case, and his sisters-in-law Clara Campbell, Doris Green, and Ginny Case. Contributions may be made in Bob's memory to the Bradford County Heritage Association and Farm Museum, PO Box 265, Troy, PA 16947.
