Robert S. Wilson, Sr.

YORK – Robert S. Wilson, Sr., 59, passed away Monday, March 5, 2012 at his home. He was the companion of Susan M. Fulton for 17 years. A celebration of life tribute service will be held at 11:00 AM Wednesday, March 7, 2012 at Life Tributes by Olewiler & Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 35 Gotham Place, Red Lion. A visitation will be held from 10-11:00 AM Wednesday at the Funeral Home. Private burial will be in Marburg Memorial Gardens. Born July 25, 1952 in Fort Littleton, PA a son of Samuel R. and Rena W. (Kearns) Wilson of York New Salem, he was a 1970 graduate of Susquehannock High School. Robert had worked at Allis Chalmers and more recently for Larry Shaull Construction and LBR Masonry. He loved hunting, fishing, and spending time outdoors. In addition to his parents and companion, Mr. Wilson is survived by a son, Robert S. Wilson, Jr. of York; two sisters, Phyllis M. Spahr of York and Doris Jean Cramer of Orrtanna, PA; five nephews, Marlen, Scott, Samuel, and Randy Cramer, and Gregory Moul. He was preceded in death by a brother, Henry J. Wilson.
