Robert S. Keeley

YORK-Robert S. Keeley, 54, of York Township, formerly of Royal Oak, Michigan died, Wednesday, April 16, 2008 at Memorial Hospital in York. He was the husband of Brenda J. (Vargo) Keeley. The couple celebrated their 34th wedding anniversary on February 23rd. A Celebration of Life Service will be 10 a.m. on Monday at Life Tributes by Olewiler & Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 35 Gotham Place in Red Lion. The Reverend Tim Allen will be officiating at the service. Visitations will be from 6-8 p.m. on Sunday and 9:30-10 a.m. on Monday at the funeral home. Mr. Keeley was born in Philadelphia on April 24, 1953, the son of Robert I. and Ruth (Morton) Keeley of Palm Desert, CA. He previously worked for Jade Manufacturing in Philadelphia and New Standard Corporation in York. He attended Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan. Mr. Keeley leaves two daughters: Alexa Keeley of State College and Gabrielle Keeley at home, a sister, Nancy Campbell and her husband Michael of Irvine, CA and a special companion, cat "Friskie".
